FINALLY!! Pics of my NISMO kit + TE-37's
Well it's been a while but today it's finally been done.. 4 months ago I ordered an INGS+1 half kit but decided about a month ago that I wanted the Nismo kit instead... Upon hearing that I wouldn't be able to get a real Nismo kit for at least 2-3 months I went with the replica kit in hopes of saving time... The fitment on the kit is less than nominal, although with a few modifications it looks perfect from the outside... The only flaws I found were on the inside of the sideskirts, they look kinda crappy... Hopefully when Nismo comes to the US in several months I'll go ahead and change them out for a real pair.. The spoiler I got from Gruppe-S and that fits perfectly! The overall cost was 950 for the parts, and 1500 to have the body shop fit it and remold it (they put on more fiberglass and recut the kit to fit better).
Well here goes...

Matix - I had them put them on w/ tape just to check it out, and they just looked too tacked on so I decided to leave them off.. I think the rear mudguards actually work quite well... zred did the same thing w/ his kit too..
looks nice!!!! the only thing is, the front bumper is not long enough. i mean, at the wheel well arch, it seems a little short on both sides where it meets the fender. btw, i really like the gunmetal volks on the chrome silver.

z461,
Looks great. In the Nismo kit pics I've seen, I've never been a fan of the rear diffusers. The idea of just leaving them off entirely never crossed my mind for some reason, and seeing your car with all but those looks miiiiighty fine.
Maybe it's way after the fact, but can you share where you ordered your wheels and tires?

Yea, I got them from sprewell racing in Los ANgeles... IF I had to do them again though, i'd recommend Victor from Discount Tire Center in Los Angeles, I didn't know he was a distributor till 2 days ago but he's the largest Volk distributor in the US!! His prices are 600 a wheel for the 19" which is DAMN GOOD... Call 626-579-1182 and ask for him! Tell him Chris Young referred you..

I was thinking about the front of the Nismo kit, again. So far, I think it's the nicest out there. Others have been more outlandish than I like or too "snouty."
Anyways, thanks again.
And Chebosto: What, you ain't diggin' the spinnin'... get chromed out, homie. Everybody's doing it. You know you want to.
