Default Both windows acting up!! ??

I've got a '03 Touring with 14k miles. Both windows have started giving me trouble the past few weeks. Started with the passenger's now the driver's.
I have read at length the many window post about motors going out.
What are the chances both would go out at the same time?? The passenger door is rarely opened.
Makes me wonder if it's not the driver's side control unit.
Any ideas?

i know there is a TSB (Technical Service Board) on the windows. Both my windows were trippin out but I got them fixed before my warranty went out.Do a search and show a dealer, they should comply.

only 14k since 2003??? Damn again on 3 posts in 3.5 years!?!

Your windows might be acting up but it can't possibly be from over use

Yes, you are right. Call it a nice piece of artwork in the garge most of the time.
But that's my point - how can my windows be acting up?

What exactly are they doing? My drivers side window went out on my 03 and I had to replace the motor.

Justin, the passenger side froze up a couple of weeks ago. Would not go back up. Turned car off, left it for about 5 minutes, came back - it has worked fine since.
Yesterday, driver side would not "burp" back up. Then it would make a clicking sound at the control and not move. Again, turned car off - waited - then it worked.
I understand that the motors can go bad. But both of them acting similar in such a short time makes me wonder??

yes, That is what mine was doing before it quit all together and mine quit when it was down in the freezing cold. Get it to Nissan asap and get them to fix it.

There are more solutions to resolve this problem ....
But I have 2 which you could try ...
1. If you open the door panel there should be a little round switch that you reset (Push in) which it's kind of hard for me to explain to you but it's there. So basically try to reset the motor and hope that fixes the problem.
2. if you have a 03 with 14,000 miles I think the dealer would let it sly more or less ...
