Both windows acting up!! ??
I've got a '03 Touring with 14k miles. Both windows have started giving me trouble the past few weeks. Started with the passenger's now the driver's.
I have read at length the many window post about motors going out.
What are the chances both would go out at the same time?? The passenger door is rarely opened.
Makes me wonder if it's not the driver's side control unit.
Any ideas?

i know there is a TSB (Technical Service Board) on the windows. Both my windows were trippin out but I got them fixed before my warranty went out.Do a search and show a dealer, they should comply.

Your windows might be acting up but it can't possibly be from over use

But that's my point - how can my windows be acting up?

Yesterday, driver side would not "burp" back up. Then it would make a clicking sound at the control and not move. Again, turned car off - waited - then it worked.
I understand that the motors can go bad. But both of them acting similar in such a short time makes me wonder??

There are more solutions to resolve this problem ....
But I have 2 which you could try ...
1. If you open the door panel there should be a little round switch that you reset (Push in) which it's kind of hard for me to explain to you but it's there. So basically try to reset the motor and hope that fixes the problem.
2. if you have a 03 with 14,000 miles I think the dealer would let it sly more or less ...
