I think it's ok. Dress your car up how you want. Would you let people on the forums tell you what clothes to wear? :P

I had some people who did not like how I was building a certain vehicle a couple years back. It eventually got a cover shoot, and I sold the car for $7k more than I had bought it for.

Do what YOU like. You might start something new.

I like it. In fact I'm going to get one for my Redline '07 soon. I think it gives it a mild custom look without the worry of smashing a real lip. I've seen many real lips that are torn up from curbs, bottoming out, etc. I don't want to worry about it when I'm driving.
