Hey guys i was wondering if the front bottom bumper cover is neccssary for the car? I wanted to take it off but im not sure if its NEEDED or not. Its the black plastic thing if you guys dont know what im talking about ill get a picture haha thanks for your inputs in advance.
Oh..yeah...there's that "black plastic thing" too. Maybe a pic would be good, lol. The large black sheet of plastic around the wheels SHOULD be left on.
well basically its hanging and it flips against the road when i drive so u see my car DRAG and people look over lol so just roll up my windows and blast my music it dragged so much it melted alot of plastic off so it aint holding anymore just hanging around so iwas thinking just to take it off..

thats as close i can get to the part its basically in the middle that plastic thing where our oil filter is.. thanks
Instead of letting it drag why dont you fix it? The underlining cover and wheel well plastic pieces are so easy to take off and put back on. IMO you really need to keep them on.
lol its totally melted it scraped against the concrete when iwas driving onthe 405 had no clue it was dragging cause it was so loud but ya either take it off or get a new one but im just wondering if its needed to spend 100 bucks on it

You should keep it on - not only does it keep the engine bay clean, it also does play a role in the airflow of the car. Mine was doing the same thing before I got another one - I had my busted up one all zip-tied to keep it on. Maybe look for a used one (I picked up a used one) to save a couple bucks.
Yeah it is just aluminum. If it was really titanium then Id shell out the $500 for one. Well probably not because everytime Id scrape it Id just cringe

I know what ya mean. My plastic one is always scratched and covered in dirt.
