I have a smear on my tachometer right where the VDC light shines, but it's between the gauge itself and the glass. How difficult is this to clean, and how the hell did it get there so I can prevent it from happening again?

 

i think u might be **** outta luck...how did it get there???thats kinda wierd.

 

itll be a pita. first youll have to remove the cluster from the car then youll have to diasassemble it which isnt fun.

can it be ignored?

 

At night when I have the VDC light on, it distorts the light and it bothers the **** outta me.

 

i have one on the inside of the gauges too, i'd be interested to see if anyone has a DIY on taking it apart
