Yeah... I understand going to a higher kelvin bulb you loose light but to me it seems to be brighter. I guess I perfer the whiteness of the ground. I also only went to a 6000k bulb cause I didn't want to 1) That blue tint 2) considerable lost of light.

OK! Enough talk... Install pics or bandage!!! LOL

not bad, but the cutoff isn't even all the way across the width. Should have sent them to IvoryGT, he's had better results on the 06+ headlights.

"Better" results? I wouldn't go so far - I've seen the pictures that he's posted here, and they arguably look the same as what I've got. I was not concerned with getting a pretty blue line to extend the entire span - that's not my goal. My goal was more light output vs the stock projector lense, and that's exactly what I got. Given the 24 hour turn around I came out way ahead vs anyone else doing this for me. The lense needed to do this is not exactly common, and for him to have had it ready to go was more than enough reason for me to move ahead

Please post up some pics of Pauls work, I can assure you the results are the same being that we use the same exact lens.

Guess where Paul gets his lenses from?

Are you using the mystery koito? Paul's pics look much more even. Not saying your work is bad or anything, it just seems his turned out better.

You can't even see the sides of the beam, and you were trying to tell me his output is more even? Not even sure what that means...

Different camera, different settings, different distance = different results from pictures.

The results will be the same in real life.

The lens is no mystery, they all come from one place....

I stand corrected (in a sense) the lenses that paul got from me he has been using on murano (very very similar to the 350z projector) in those pictures he was using the "mystery" koito lens...

So the results will surely differ.

Original HIDplanet thread:
http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31331

As far as replicating his results, you would need another set of those lenses, which according to Paul is basically not possible since he can't find any. I know because we talk from time to time.

So saying that Adam should have sent his lights to Paul is disrespectful to me, and on the other hand wouldnt have done him any good.

You just love arguing don't you? Why, I have no idea. I dind't start the thread as a comparison of one guys retro vs another. I was merely showing off the great job, and commenting on the fantastic service, that Caesar gave me.
