hi jfive,

yeah, it does look cool.

i'm so used to the stock leather one though. stock one is very comfortable.

the NISMO one takes getting used to.

I myself like the NISMO one better, primarily for looks.

Can you post a picture taken from above? From the pics I've seen it looks like there is a screw that goes through the top. Is there, and if so, why?

Probably because it acts as a fastener.

I always kinda like T-handle shift *****. You really get the most amount of leverage which I always felt made for quicker and more positive shifts.

Does it get hot? I know the little aluminum piece at the top of the stock shifter gets hot enough to burn ya.

Oh, and I like the shifter too looks nice!!!

I got that 6 speed design imprinted on my palm because of it heating up...

Nice mod John. Keep it going!!!

But anywho, dammit my car is going back into the shop again... Someone ****ing keyed my car..

And guess where they keyed my car. AT WORK. I work for the department of interior and my car was park on government property. I always thought my car was safe being protected by federal security... But oh well, gotta repaint my whole door....

Sucks, i only had my car for 5 months and 2 of those months was when my car was in the shop.

ARGH... This is starting to get expensive... :-)
