Any difference in paint codes between USDM and JDM
I have a JDM 350Z and the paint code says WV2 which is the equivalent of silverstone. I ordered some mud guards recently from Nissan and when it came painted in WV2 the colour was slightly different. Close but different if you look closely. When i check the code again, there was another symbol ..can't remember if it was a number or a letter.... anyway, none of the american suppliers seem to have that colour.. i want to get a trunk spoiler but I am afraid of the mismatch! Help

yeah david is right codes are the same. the difference in color you might see can come from the the method of applying the paint. factory sprayers can tend to distribute paints with metal flake in them different than body shops sprayers. also you can notice even from a factory paint job you will see different shades on different materials sometimes. like the urethane bumper and skirts can sometimes look a slight different shade than the aluminum doors and hood especially on the silvers
