just ordered the 06-07 climate control ***** for my 04'...anybody hear have them on 03-05?

where did you order them from, I been wanting to do this for a while...and yes they do fit

 

sorry guys, parts came in yesterday, 11 bucks a ****. i had nissan figure it out, they tried and it didnt work! they said there was no way to get the 04 ***** off...they said i have to buy the whole unit...so i scrapped the idea and returned the parts...

 

you have to get the white control box for it to work. there was a complete 06 interior swap somewhere on this forum. this issue was addressed. everything fits in place, but the ***** dont work unless the 06 ac control **** is used in conjuction w/ the 06 *****.

 

You can't just swap the A/C box either. The controller is not the same size and doesn't fit in the console unless you change out the entire dash.

 

thats what i was implying, n case it didnt come out clear.

there was a thread on this. one of the guys on here did a complete center console swap

 

actually the dash doesn't fit either, you have to swap the whole car. you can keep your bling wheels though, they'll still fit.

just kidding .. I wanted to do the same A/C **** swap.. too bad it isn't an easy one..

 

that sucks. those ***** are pretty sweet too..

 

The ***** have always been the biggest envy of mine in the interior when they redesigned the 06s.

 

Whats the difference between the 03-05's and the 06 *****? I test drove an 06 before I bought my 04 but did not notice any difference.

 

Take a look at your car and compare it to this:

 

I see, that whole shifter surround panel is now 2 pieces.. theres somewhere online to get aluminum **** covers for the Z, i'll try and find the link.
