I ditched the spare well before I mounted my 19" Volks... But for some reason I keep the jack and tools in their original location. That will change tonight...
I use my Z as a daily driver, but like other have members said, why bother when you can get a tow. Besides, like many others have also said, the spare doesn't fit over a BBK anyway...
I have roadside assistance through my insurance company, a credit card company, Nissan extended warranty, and I'll be signing up or AAA in a month or so... (ex-member, only used it once when my girlfriend locked herself out of her car...)
I have a question about tire storage; Currently my stock set of wheels, including the spare, are lined up along wall of my shed. The shed is too small for all three to go in. Would wrapping the wheels in plastic aka garbage bags, be a could way to keep them from getting messed up? Or would that just lock in moisture and do more harm than good?

why do you need weight reduction for daily driving? i understand if you've got a system to put in, or for the track, but for everyday surface street/freeway driving...?

To answer your question, I drop weight in my car for a specific goal. There's a reason why my battery only weighs 12 lbs. lol

How much time do you think I have on my hands to actually remove the spare tire and jack, and battery and wheels and every other lightweight part just for the track? It makes no sense. I'm installing a roll cage this weekend, that should say something about where i'm going with this car. lol Definitely not a grocery getter.

I have a question, i have an 04 with out the TPMS and thinking about running with out the spare. Since its my daily driver, can i use the fix-a-flat if i do get a flat? Im running 19" sportmax wheels with no TPMS. I dont feel like call a tow just for a flat.

Handles better. The feel becomes much more crisp, plus it's a bit faster.
