Default $$Price for Tint?$$

I just got my Daytona Blue Touring, and i was wondering what a good price was to get all five(5) windows tinted. I live here in Southern California and if anyone has any suggestions of places also that would be a great help. I got quoted from a couple of places ranging from $140 to $199. I am just wondering what a respectable price out be.
Thanks for the Help

Those sound about right to me. I paid a bit more than I had anticipated at $169, but I think it was because it was the first one they'd done here and they weren't sure the labor involved.

I got what you see in the sig, for 170 I think? it was 150 standard, and 20 for the windsheild. love the % of it, looks dark except its still drivable at night with the side mirrors. I would just say dont do 5% side windows, its too much, 20% is the limit on what you can see through or not at night. 20% is also the limit on whether you can see in or not during the day. obviously on the barely side of both lines. barely cant see into it, and can barely see out of it.

I just got my windows tinted yesterday by the dealer, I have a chrome silver enthusiast, with 35% tint all around (legal limit in NY). It looks awsome. I don't no how much it was, my girlfriend got it done as a gift (great gift). I'm sure they gave her a good deal we know the people there well.

while you may have a case in court with 35% tint, a cop can and will give a ticket for it. windows come about 93% tinted from the factory, so with 35% it bumps it down to 30% or so. no longer legal according to their tester.

just something to consider, for truely legal tint you need atleast 40% tho 50% is the more common amount, at which point it becomes sorta pointless.

Ares, thats a good point, the windows look darker than 35%, especially that it has the dark interior. I think a cop will have to be in a real pissed off mood to write ya up though, i'm sure he/she won't hesitate if you give them an attitude. It always nice when your fathers a cop too.

oh yeah, I would imagine youd have to get a sun of a ***** judge that wouldnt dismiss a ticket if you brought your reciept into court and it clearly showed that your tint was 35%, and thus, legal to your knowledge.

but at 35%, your not totally avoiding the potential hassle of the ticket and going to court to state your case.

35% tint really isn't that much. Here in Ohio, the legal limit is 50% yet all the police officers I know wouldn't even consider giving a ticket for my tint. I know lots of people with 35% and none have ever got a citation for tint even when they've been cited for not having a front plate. I'm not saying this is the case with every cop but I've also found that even with ******** cops being polite will get all the minor things ignored like tint, no front plate, etc....

350???? are you sure they didn't just look at the # on your car and come up with that amount, or did you pay Canadian dollars??? that seems like a LOT. I typically pay 200-250 for the best tint on a door sedan (that rear side window on the Z is VERY small and easy to do, it should be less $$, Plus the hatchback comes up, which makes doing the rear hatch window easier than a typical coupe).

Default California Legal Tinting Limits

In Cali you can only have the windows behind the driver tinted. This means the rear side windows and the back window.

Medical exemptions allow for removable sunshade type devices on the front side windows (passenger and driver side).

Default Wait til the end of the month

Just wait until the end of the month when they have to make their quotas. They seem to get quite picky at that point.
