Default Window tint on the Z...?

I want to get my windows tinted, but I love the looks of the rear Z logo strut cover from the outside. Does anyone know if you can get a tint that is like solid black and then fades to a clear when you would want a gap to show something? If this makes any sense, basicly I want my windows black, but with a gap so you can see the rear strut logo.

I think that might look a little dumb. Either don't tint at all, or get it light enough so it still shows through a little.

Yeah, I got to thinking that it would be dumb, maybe just a light tint.

I am almost certain that this could be done. First off, what are you trying to get acomplish by going to a dark tint? Because, if you just want to protect your interior from the sun, darker tint does not necesarily means better. You could go with a medium to light tint and still get the same protection.

Unless......you just want people not to see you at all with the windows up.

I have 20% all around and love it, during the day if its really sunny out you can see through but cloudy or later in the day you cant. Keeps so much sun out during the day, i can get cold easily with the ac on low.

get as dark as you can get Dark tint on a Z looks amazing. Get that light kit for the kicks and the strut and when the doors open dome light etc. it glows that will show through the tint.

I loved the 15% I had on my Acura, I got like 35 on the Z (came like that)- thinking about getting it removed and replaced with 20 just because its already hard a hell to see out of the back. Anyway I suggest dark tint to protect your interior and anything that might look tempting to crooks. Ppl are more likely to see someones face pressed up against your window looking for something to grab than just catching a glimpse walking by...Good Luck...

Think i had 15% last time, not sure 5% makes much of a difference but all i know is 35% sucks.... ripped it off my last car myself. Either way if your gonna get a ticket you might as well go with what looks good and 15 or 20 isnt too dark to see trust me.

actually ive never had a problem not seeing outside of the car to be honest. Where i park i never have to back up hardly out in bfe where nobody parks. My windows are down 90% of the time so that helps. I can usually see good enough out of it. Maybe i just have good vision or somethin

limo looks much better.... i never get hassled around here, i dont think the cops just stair at the tint when they see the car. It's not an oldsmobile with no hubcaps and limo tint standing out like a soar thumb.
