Default question about painting/sanding

So i bought a used oem bumper that is SB to replace my cracked redline. my question is, do i need to sand the thing down before i take it to the shop to get it painted? or is that something they will do that wont tack any extra labor charges on to my bill? thanks

This is something you would have to ask your individual shop about. Most bodyshops will prep the piece before painting but they aren't going to do it for free. Give your local shops a call and find out what works best for you.
