Default Someone hit my new car

So parked my brand new 2007 350z - To come back to a side swipe on the rear rightside bumber. The car has less than 1000 miles on her only to have body work. This sucks

Any idea on the cost $$$? Can this be fixed without painting the rear quarter panels for paint match? Whats the proper way to fix something like this?

The scum bag that did this was not man enough to stick around. Not going to bother with an insurance claim. Going out of pocket & need to find a good autobody ship in NJ.

I'm guessing ~$500 if they just repair/recondition the bumper. They shouldn't have to do any blending on adjacent panels since the car is so new.

File an insurance claim.
Take it to a body shop. and have it done right.

My insurance deductable is a $1000, so If repair is less than 1000 bucks going out of pocket. No to mention my insurance for the year for this car is only 900 bucks. Something like this not worth the raise in premiums. To do it right should the bumber be replaced or patched?

NJ police report might be waste of time, since I might pick up the tab. I can go to the station and file the paperwork anytime since I have no one to claim against.
