Default FRP Repair Question

When we were installing my Veilside V1 lip it was a very tight stretch on the driver side and during our test fit a small crack formed. Then we took the lip back off and filed it down in a few spots to get some more clearance, but then when we did our final install it created a newer, larger crack rooted in one of the spots where we were filing. So here it is as it sits currently on the car:

It has a bunch of 3M tape on the middle section so I believe that removing the lip is not an option. The crack will need to be repaired with the lip still on the car. Do you all think that the cracks could be filled in and smoothed over with the lip on the car? At this point I'm more concerned with stopping the cracks from propagating than I am with appearance. From a couple feet away it's not that noticeable anyway.

LOL yeah that was my first thought, but I'm more concerned about that crack getting bigger and bigger from vibrations as I drive the car.

I use to have a V1 and mine cracked in the same place. As for fiberglass repair, its cheap. The expensive thing will be the repainting over and over.

Anyone have luck filling fiberglass cracks with Krazy Glue (or any other brand of super glue)? I dropped by the body shop today and the guy's suggestion for now was to fill in the cracks with super glue (using a fine-tip syringe to keep the slop factor down). Then once it sets in and hardens I plan to use the sand paper on pencil tip method to rough up the exposed glue and coat it with some Nissan touch-up paint. I'm more concerned with structure than appearance at this point. The body shop guy suggested doing this and then seeing how it reacts to the temperature change as we enter the colder months (I imagine it will become more brittle like most other materials), and then again as the weather warms up in the spring. If at that point the cracks look any worse he said he'd rather wait to throw more money at it then.

Seemed like honest opinion since he denied himself the opportunity to make more money from me in the short term, and I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything to try to super glue fix. Any other opinions are welcomed!
