Default Windshield Help

Having windshield replaced Thursday. I don't understand what exactly the guy is referring to. He said one type of windshield has a green tint and the other is blue. Said you barley can tell it. But is a lot better quality than the OEM. The difference between the two is $100 (that would be the blue one). These are specifically for the Z. Does anyone know about this? Thanks in advance.

most jdm oem glass has a green color to it wich is very hard to see. you can really see the green when you put tint on it though. a lot of mercedes come with blue glass. idk, maybe go with the blue glass

The side windows are the same way. You can usually call the dealership, and give them your VIN number and they can tell you. Or hold a piece of white paper on the inside of the windshield and see what color shows through. It is probably green though.

I specifically asked for the green one to save some greenbacks and it looks just like stock. Not sure what the blue one looks like. But both times I had the windshield replaced, I got the green tint one and I'm content

Thanks guys. That makes feel better about it. I was really worried, like the guy was selling me something bad.
