OK before I get flamed!!
I have searched and came up with some ball park numbers for what it should cost for painting some parts.
what is a REASONABLE price to have:
The front lower lip on a V1 Bumper painted gloss black (not even sanded)
A pair of Gandor Mirrors (Inner part gloss black, outer part UY) no removing necessary
and the door handles (outer edge Gloss Black inner handle UY) already removed from car.

I am being told almost $1000 and I think that is astronomical!

Just to let you all know the job is already done, it was done while I was in India on business and I was never communicated the price before they did the work, so I can't even shop it around now.

Let me know if that is an OK price or WAY out of whack! I have never had parts painted before so I am not 100% certain what is resonable. I will be going to some other shops just to see what they would have charged me but wanted to get some opinions first.

Yes, that is high. I only paid $1500 for a five piece bodykit and that included installation.

 

Thanx for the input guys......I spoke to the custom shop that outsourced it to the paint shop and they are knocking off a few hundred as a start, but I told them I want to speak to the paint shop directly, as I got my car back last night and the pain work is sub-par to say the least (And these guys allegedly specialize in Ferrari's, Mercedes, BMW)......the bottom line, I told them I am NOT paying until I am satisfied.....
I'll post pictures in a little while as it the over all color theme is coming along nicely!
