@ usmanasif... i never wrote that this center console is made of 100% cf. we use the same technic and the same manufacturer like ARDEN for the carbon range rover center console and PORSCHE DESIGN for the 911 carbon interior. also other cars have this kind of carbon interior. New MINI Cooper Works Carbon Interior, BMW M3 Carbon Interior, BMW Z4 Carbon Interior, Ferrari Carbon Interior and many many more. it is not possible to build a 100% cf center console. behind the center console are so many difficult clips and fitting points for the 3 gauges, the box, the radio and the A/C. only race cars have a 100% carbon center console and/or dash board, but these parts are not molded and not nice, just functional and light.

jim, this is not a cover version. you replace the complete center console or arm rest finishers.

I think what CARBONLTD means is ... is it FULL DRY CARBON FIBER, and CTD-GERMANY is saying these pieces are OEM Wrapped in carbon, so they are full replacement pieces but are overlaid.

 

So its not really a replacment if they use the old ones...

 

What normally happens is they will send you the whole replacement piece and the piece may be new or could be used, but you can't really tell since it will be wrapped in carbon fiber, and they can either buy your stock piece back as a core exchange program and give you some discount/ refund for it

 

correct! ... a full carbon part is not possible if you have ever see the backside of the center console. too much clips and mounting points (for radio, 3 gauges etc).

please note, that porsche design, arden, hamann, cooper works etc. use the same technic for the carbon center console.
