Default gum stuck on car

after i had lunch, today, i noticed that i have some strings of gum going down the side of my car. it's still very fresh, sticky and stringy. can anybody tell me a safe way to remove gum from the car?

Wash your car, then claybar the residue.

You probably want to take off as much as possible before it begins to harden. If it hardens, you have a higher chance on stratching your car while trying to remove it.

You can also try "Goo Gone" They have a version specifically for cars. It is a pale yellow liquid. A few shades lighter than your typical Goo Gone.

thanks guys. does meguires wax work okay? i would get zainos, but i don't have the time or patience to find it and buy it online. why don't they sell that **** in the stores anyway?
