I do agree that red would look good in a silver car but IMO is getting old and it attracts too much attention.

Well I just bought the Recaro Sportster CS in full leather. (love the back!!, and the cool swing forward release switch that's subtely put into the seat belt holes)
I was in dialogue with a Bride dealer at the same time, but I got the Recaro's because of how hot they look. After I bought them I todl the BRIDE dealer, and he told me that the Recaro's fit like ****. The Bases don't fit well at all accoring to him. He sells Recaro's but he won't selll the base because of the trouble he had with it.
I'm still gonna go ahead with the Recaro's becuase of the looks, and just hope I can figure out a way for it to work, or maybe they've fixed the issue... wishful thinking, i know!

Also, I think what I like abotu these seats is that they don't over do the 'race' theme. My car doesn't look liek a race car. So I kinda like the balance between comfort and race.
If I was building a race car, BRIDES all the way!

The high-end Sparco's use premium materials along with world class R&D that IMHO, are top of the line. As with everything else, just need to compare at matching levels & be ready to foot the bill.

whitebwoy, congrats on the seats....those are very nice! If the recaro rails don't work well, it's probably the alignment to the stock holes... I'm guessing.. The bride rails fit perfect though.

Turns out the only recaro seat i would even consider is the black leather/suede one, but that'll run about 1200 per seat, a bit more than i want to spend. I think i'm going to go with sparco milano 2 seats. The quality is outstanding and the look is exactly what i want, and the price is 900 apiece. I have one more day to decide. If somebody has something against sparco seats, speak up.

Here is the quote from the guy:
Re: Bride seats
Basically, recaro brackets suck....I can't really elaborate more than that, as that pretty much sums it up lol
they are made by Wedge Engineering in CA. We sell Recaro too but we won't sell their bases...had so many issues with them, I gave up and exclusively use Bride bases (there is a base that works with a recaro seat but its not going to be something tyically stocked in the US, at least not this time of year)
