Here are quotes i got from two upholstery shops:

1) $1300 for everything including real leather cover + installation
$700 for only installation

2) $1200 for everything including real leather cover + installation

Are those price fair? If yes, i'd rather buy a set of bride PROS. ($1500)

quotes sound ok I suppose, ask what brand kit they are installing.

it's not that hard to install, maybe 4 hours.

 

That is a MAJOR ripoff. It sholdn't be more then $700-850/900 installed WITH leather. If you're willing to get Brides, then go for them.. or check the marketplace and get the entire seats for around $500.

 

ouch...i got two-tone red/black covers for my rx7 seats from leatherseats for 450 on special. then, since i have no upholstery skills i had a local shop do the install for an addl 200...somebodys tryin to bone you imo

 

Check out Classic Soft Trim, find their local dealer/installer. Mine were only $700 installed. Unless those are something really special and custom made, $1200-1300 is high.

 

^ werd! Do a search on Classic Soft Trim, OR Katzkin. Both are QUALITY as far as aftermarket goes. Here is a pic of my OLD seats *(Katzkin wrapped seats) before I switch to my brides. These are now sitting in my basement...
