Default Need leather dash work done...

Can anyone recommend a shop that could upholster a lot of my interior in a couple shades of leather and some ultrasuede? I really like the leather on the interior of the DAMD Z, but I'm going for more of a Zonda interior scheme.

The work must be top notch. That means no crappy uneven stitching.

I'm located in Nashville, TN.

Are you building a 69' Impala or a 350Z?

I think going the route of the DAMD Z will end up costing you an arm and a leg. Don't get me wrong, I love the setup (minus the **** carpet they used), but it was much more than simply covering interior pieces with new leather.

Take a look at a few members on here for some ideas of upholstery work. Kwame@Z1, Buzzard Mountain and a few others have some nice setups.

honestly, if it MUST be done right, and you aren't making 6 figures...learn how to do it right yourself and practice wrapping panels in leather. Probably won't get done as fast, but it will certainly be every bit as awesome looking as you want, and will cost significantly less too, even with all the wasted leather and stitching thread used while practicing.

unfortunately this isn't an answer to your question, but i don't know of anyone that does leather stitching except BRABUS (the mercedes customizer)...and if you don't have a 6 figure salary, forget it. however, if you do, they have done stuff for the 350z in the past. i'll see if i can find some example pictures.

Actually most of the best interior guys do mostly hot rods and classic cars. I'd recommend asking around those communities.

The guy that did my interior had to finish up doing up a Bugatti Veyron before doing my interior ... Nuff Said. Only problem is he is in Conneticut and you aren't anywhere near there and I doubt he is going be keen on shipping a dash back and forth.

Here are examples of his work in my car...

You should have probably posted this in the regional forums.

ok, we've officially turned this thread into a 56k beware thread....but anyway, i found the brabus 350Z custom leather/alcantara pictures. Don't blame me for the out of focus pictures, cause i didn't take the pictures.

^ that looks pretty good... Bck on topic....this is a tough decision. It could potentially look great... and also potentially "overdone" if not done right.
