Does the underlining plastic peace (under the engine bay) serve a huge purpose? My father was using my car, hydroplaned and it broke it off all the bolts underneath and started to drag so we had to cut it... they are saying its 150-200 bux to replace (which i find rediculous) so im curious if its save to keep it off?

Ok cool thanks, i plan on getting it fixed eventually I just think 200 is rediculous to pay for that piece considering the size and how easy it is to put on there myself.
Just wondering if its fine off for right now. Thanks rookie

I haven't ran one since my first oil change. But it's up to you if you want to. There's a lot of people here who will argue to use it, for several good purposes. But I don't think it hurts anything. I've seen them for sale in the classifieds plenty of times for $45 bucks.

Yeah see thats what im really waiting for is someone to sell one on here. Or a vendor to hit me up with a much lower price. Not that im stingy with my money or anyting but I see it better to buy used plastic for underneath the car, its not like a used turbo kit or anything lol
