That's pretty darn low. I've read of wheels/tires getting ripped off and even the odd aftermarket car stereo ... but a lip? Dang.

 

Basically, you just use the dry outputs of the DVR to trigger a loop on an alarm panel when the DVR senses motion on the screen, or you could hook it up to a relay and power supply and just trigger a siren there locally at your house.

I've set up peoples burg alarms to call there cell phone or pager if there's an alarm trip and they're not home. That way, you don't have to pay $30-$40 a month for monitoring fees. There's so much cool stuff you can do now a days

See this is the exact reason why I hook up a high powered electric fence system's hook ups to the frame and metal body panels of My Z... teach them suckers the first time... think they gonna **** on it to be funny, fry their manhood... think they are gonna take those rims... wait till they try to grab hold of those metal rims... think they are gonna use a screw driver to take out some screws... watch em get kicked back with some massive voltage... aww, the possibilities.
