Default Question about installing sideskirts

are u supposed to leave ur stock sides when u install aftermarket ones?
cause i bought authentic sides recently and the guy said i should put it over the stock ones
my old aftermarket didnt fit too well cause i took off the stock sides, starting to wonder if thats what caused it?
let me know...

I don't know of any aftermarket side skirts that overlay your stock sides. You have to remove your stockers and replace with the aftermarket set. Can you tell us which ones you have?? That will help.

Some kits do, others don't. I have a JP kit and it's a overlay.

Is Nismo sideskirts, overlay or replace stock skirts?

Nismo is full replacement, uses stock holes to install. Took me about 15 min to remove and put on.

Depends on the kit, however most will be a full replacement. If they are Nismo, which it sounds like, its just a direct skirt replacement, don't even have to make any new holes.
