It's the flash, it looks real even and matching in person.

Also, heat is going to help you.

I had to use a heat gun for over an hour to get the 3M to mold onto my dash. Now that sucker's on there good.

Hi,

I saw edashkits.com Carbon Fiber Dash Kit. Anyone who has seen one or has one I was wondering if their is a lot of glare. Some people say that there is so much glare off the new CF dash that they can't even read the gauges. If it is like this I will have to look for another place to buy. Thanks for any info.

Wow, that sucks that the kit doesn't really match the interior of your car....
Perhaps they sent you the wrong color, maybe???
I agree that from the pic, it doesn't look anywhere near the orange/yellow color sample on the edashkit webpage.
I was going to order that EXACT same kit but I first wanted to see pics of it installed in a Z with orange seats to see how well the "orange" c/f matched the interior.
oh well, if that's what the "orange" c/f looks like, i'll just have to go with the black c/f or the brushed aluminum i guess...

Is there any glare from any color Carbon Fiber Dash Kit from www.edashkit.com . Can you read your gauges easily.

I must give Edashkits props!!!They exchanged the orange/red one for a brushed aluminum no problem..Install was easy and everything is a perfect fit..I did have a problem with 2 peices from the kit where the 3m sticky tape didnt adhere to the kit properly and the replaced the pieces free of charge no problem..I must give credit where credit is due.. the kit looks good and the company is good to work with..

I purchased the IPT alum dash kit and had it pro installed. Some of the pieces didn't fit but I not sure whether the installer stretched the pieces (90+ here) or if a couple were too long. looks nice but the mismatches bug me.

I think IPT dash kits are different from the edashkits...do you have a glazing ovet the aluminum or is it bare metal???

HOw are those aluminum dash kits holding up? Doesn't the glaze over them make them NOT match the rest of the aluminum in car? Other then that it looks wicked awesome.

I have Blue CF from edashkits and suite E graphix and both companys are great to work with. I designed this pc. with Will a edashkit. It's not on thier web site you have to call and custom order it, copy this pic and send it to them and they will know whats up. 60.00 for the set and looks much better than the warning lable cover.

It would be a lot better if they had pictures of all the materials, this way if we end up ordering something like orange it doesn't come out red...

The big style problem to me is the nav/cubby hole door cover. If you don't want that "Z" cutout , then you have to deal with either a multi-piece application or leave it stock. Has any kit solved that double compound / curved door application to make it a nice looking seamless single piece?

Apparently either the site is down or doesn't work anymore (since this thread is over a year old) or something but if they are still around anyone know the price on the bull CF dash kit. The suiteEgrafx one doesn't do the whole thing back like this metalic kind one did.... does the blue CF one cover the same pieces? I like that last kit posted btw, covering the warning things on the visors

To elaborate - understand how the pinnacleliquid process, or similar, can solve the nav door and other curve challenges, but for those who do not want to disassemble the entire console assembly and mail or swap it out, this isn't a very viable approach.

I haven't seen any veneer-type application (that an owner can apply at home) that does a good (single piece) job with the nav door. Are there any molded or recently better done applications out there?
