Default Got a defective CF hatch, WTF!!!!

After waiting for a few weeks for the Mastergrade CF hatch, here is what I got from CarbonLTD:

I also ordered Kaminari hood. It came beautifully packed.

you shouldnt have signed for it and immediately sent it back via the shipping company. Its even on the box where the hole is!!!

that's damage from shipping, not the company that sold it.

sorry to see that.

you do not sign for packages with a big-azz hole in the box. especially if it's an expensive piece of carbon fiber. you should know after reading all the threads on here about damaged goods from shippping.

hope you get this worked out ASAP.

not the vendors fault. You shouldn't have accepted that package. I believe the shipper has to file all the paperwork for the claim so get with them.

anyone find that picture ironic?

btw, i dont see any difference in packaging 'quality'. except the shipping co. put a hole in the hatch box.

You signed for it, and the driver left..Good luck getting it covered. Those freight deliveries always throw the paper in your face to sign and are in a hurry to leave...ALWAYS open and inspect prior to signing.

Ugh! I ordered a bumper and the box had a huge hole in it. the guy was like 'Oh its fine' and tried to get me to sign. I said hell no and opened it. He was right it was fine but peace of mind goes a long way.

Andy, sorry to hear about the damages that occured. Just to make it clear, that hatch was 100% perfect when it left our shop. You will need to follow the instructions on the box for "concealed" damages. I'll do what I can on my end to speed things up.

This is why we put big stickers and tell all our customers to open the packages before signing for them, especially if it has a huge hole in the side.

c'mon you guys...you know how you can get when you get packages...don't bash him already.

If the claim don't work out you can fix that...as long as the weave is intact, the resin might be able to be fixed..

I think it was the fact he called it a "defect" rather then shipping damages.
