Default interior question

Ok I don't know the name so that makes it hard to search...

Anyway those little plastic things to the left of the steering wheel on the dash where you can put aftermarket buttons for accessories and such. What are they called and how do I get them off to install a button?

I don't know if I'm reading your post correctly, but those plastic fill caps are there in place of options that you don't have, like in the center console for headed seats, folding mirrors, etc.

You have to take the associated panels off to be able to get behind the cap and remove it so you can mount your custom button for whatever item it is that you want.
