How many KGs will you shave OFF
Hi every one I was wondering how many Kgs will you shave if you replaced every thing with CF on the car I'm talking hood trunk doors fenders....
just curious to see if its worth the money... and seats coz I know the ones I have are very heavy with the heaters and the electrical motors...

If you change everything to dry carbon you will save quite a bit of weight. I don't know exactly how much but if you do wet carbon you don't save very much.
when I changed my hood I was very surprised how light the factory hood actually was. I think I only saved a couple pounds at best.
changing your seats and your rear hatch will probably save the most weight.

thats exactly what i was thinking seats, rear hatch and fenders, and doors..
but I think the bigest save will be the rear hatch and then the doors and seats more or less equaly and the fenders r just for the fun of it I wish any 1 here can give me an estimation guys com on jump in....

The Amuse car I believe is 2700lbs? I am not 100% sure but I remember seeing that somewhere.
It really depends how far you plan on going. Like others have said, Dry Carbon will save you a lot of weight. Seats don't need to really be expensive, the Zeta III for example are affordable and weigh around 15lbs.
Replacing the battery, removing the rear wiper, spare tire, and even running less gas will lower your weight without really spending too much money.
The stock exhaust system is also extremely heavy. A titanium exhaust is probably in the realm of 30-40 lbs or less compared to the stock which is around 100 lbs.
The Amuse Dry Carbon Hood is only around 10-15lbs.
Lexan glass will also drop your weight.

Yeah dry carbon is SPENDY. Rear hatch with Lexen, carbon bucket seats, removing spare tire and tools, ti exhaust....all will save a lot. Other stuff like hood, fenders, side skirts will save a bit but not as much.
