mesh grill cover thoughts
been searching and reading about these...found the various options and opinions regarding adding a mesh grill. one thing that i haven't seen mentioned is the practical reason for having one: protection.
i looked in behind my stock grill and there are numerous fins dented, tons of bugs, etc in there. wouldn't it be a good idea to protect the internal parts behind the grill with mesh?
i'd go with a matte finished black...not looking for something flashy...no IC to show off, etc.
anyone had a rock go through something and wish they had put mesh on there?

I do like the mesh. I put black mesh in my grill and love the look and added protection. I drive on the interstate a lot and I think it helps protect against rocks pieces of retread and other junk that people run over and throw at you.

i am gonna put universal black meshing in behind the factory grille... it won't be too noticeable, heck, if you dont look for it probably wont see it. It will just help protect everything in behind it.
