I noticed I got few long but light scratches on the top of my shift boot holder and a small but kinda deep one right on the rear of it. Looks like someone tried to gauge it with a razor. Any thing I can use to get them out?

 

Don't know the solution. Next time tell her to take off her high heels before she jockeys to accomodate you.
