I've got an '06 5AT Z, and if there's one thing I don't like about it, it's the stock shift ****. It just doesn't feel sporty enough for me, and it's too tall. Anyways, the other day I was taking a look at my buddy's '05 G35 Coupe, and his is a 5AT, as well. His shifter, however, looked a lot nicer - it was shorter than the Z's, and had a luxurious shift boot. Is this factory? If so, are the G35 and 350Z auto shifters interchangeable?

 

probably, i know that the g35 mt and 350z mt are interchangable...they are the same
