Prices for paint and install of wing???
Hey guys and gals,
Just wondering how much everyone out there is paying for painting and installation of the "nismo-style" wing?
Also, is the installation easy enough to be worth doing myself, or should I let the professionals deal with it since it will be at the body shop anyway?
Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Sean
Sorry if this has been asked before...my searches for prices didn't yield anything

I am curious also.
I'm concerned seeing that painting of my bumper is around $500. I can only hope that the wing will be significantly less.
I figures installation will be about $100.

the paint job should be around 150-250, installation would cost another 50-75. i dont' recommend doing the installation yourself, because of the drilling. if you are installing the nismo style wing from gruppe-s or kcaero, ask the body shop to sand and prep the wing before painting it.
andrew what happend to your bumper? did you get your wing yet?

I had the Kcaero wing, and it was so crappy that the shop had to do some major work to it, then sand, prime, paint and install, It cost $475 total. The wing still doesnt even look perfect, it doesnt sit flush. Damn Kcaero wings.

if it came "pre-primed" and is in good quality and fit. it normally doesn't cost more then $250 to install them. I don't have NISMO style wing. But from my experience with spoiler installation, it pays to go to a place with good quality and worksmanship(even if it costs a little more).
BTW, what materials are being used to make the aftermarket wings? I think Stillen uses Urethane compounds. (but it looks like crap).
