well, today i was involved in a somewhat serious accident that involved a person without a valid drivers license and insurance. long story short i need a new bumper. from what im seeing here people have been getting aftermarket front bumpers instead of the oem ones through their insurance company. is this true because my body shop said some insurance companies only deal with oem parts for damaged cars?

if they price a oem bumper...and u find an aftermarket bumper for same price...i dont c y u couldnt do that instead!
