Bump for more updates and availability.

When you say dry carbon I assume it is done in a autoclave?
Is the aerocatch included in the price?
Does the latch location come pre-cut? If it doesn't I assume I can get a factory style latch fabricated as you you said you will not supply this.
Will there be a template to help the install of the aerocatch?
Any pitcures of how the aerocatch is fitted on the protoype.

Guys,
I wanted to keep everyone updated on this hood, we have held off making it available until we are happy with the final product. It is not something that will be produced in quantity, as it is made using 100% CF. Yes it does use the exact
oem skeletal design underneath. It will not have an oem latch. Only aerocatch latches, which must be mounted exactly where they are shown on this thread. There is a special fabbed bracket that comes with the hood, and it slides in with the oem latch. Vents are optional, and we are working on a couple of versions including a counter sunk vent that goes down to the radiator core. Sorry things are not going faster, but we are just busy with daily production of other parts. That's all. Way understaffed.

Sorry but there was no jumping the gun. I did not start this thread about it. So was simply providing some information.

But there is no information, there is no hood in production, and there is no date when it will be available. These threads **** me off. they are all over the board. The Cosworth intake, EVO-R replica bumpers. Some things never come to market.

Soooooo when will this be able to be purchased? Give us some hi-res pics of the weve, the finish, the honeycomb, the whole finished hood etc.

Sorry real life upsets you so much. Try being a manufacturer for one day. Try making parts that win races, and having to keep going back to the drawing board.
