Default Fitting 03-06 Hood on 07 Possible?

Hey guys, i'm pretty close to getting me a new 350 and was interested in the whole 07 issue. So far the front end and hood are a pain to swap with aftermarket parts just purely because the fact that the 07 hood has a bulge and the front end basically doesn't fit any 03-05 lips.

What I was thinking was if there is a possibility to fit on an 03-06 CF hood (Looking for an Asuka CF hood btw if anyone is selling lol), and fit it onto an 07. Is there a fitment issue if I remove the engine cover (Even possible? May not even have a removeable engine cover). I'm looking at a nismo v2 front end, but the two indents by the hamburger don't match the 07, so i'd probably have to get it shaved if i'm not able to get the 03-06 hood on.

Those hoods sometimes hit on 03's to 06's so I say no way.

Thanks for the feedback. Anyone else try it out and see what happens?

If there was a way, don't you think Nissan would have figured that out instead of spending R&D money on redesigning it? What good would removing the engine cover do when the strut bat actually sits above it? Common sense is a wonderful tool.

Couple of problems you will run into
1. Asuka is not available
2. 03-05 parts will not fit your 07 (speaking generally), be patient new 07 kits are being released at SEMA.

Get the 07. I was skeptical of the "bulge" myself at first, but it has grown on me.

Apparently it's something i'm lacking. Thanks for all the replies, just needed to get a general idea of the situation before making any plans.
