Made an Aluminum door panel scuff plate *pic*
Got sick of scuffing my door when squeezing out of the car in the garage. Got a door push from Home depot and dremeled out the shape, sanded and bent it.
I think it looks pretty decent. Want some different screws to hold it in but all in all not bad for $4.95. Might make a few other little pieces for the interior too

It wasnt that hard, i mean if I can do it..lol
I got the shape by putting painters tape over the door and drawing out the shape on the tape. Then pulling it off and cutting out the shape, sticking the tape to the aluminum and then slowly dremeling it out, sanding off the shards and then dremel sanding for more shape. God I love the dremel...sanding the curves smooth was like carving butter. Cutting was sort of slow(use DREMEL metal disks..the knock off I bought just shattered at high revs) but if you just go back and forth slowly it will cut thru
Ill adjust that curve to match the pocket in the door better if I do it again. I might just make a bunch one weekend and see if anyone wants them
