Center Gauge Billet Trim Rings? (3)and shifter ring cover
Currently in design phase and would like feedback.on final design ie. whether to make them brushed, highly polished or chromed. And whether to dimple them in current Z fashion. Trying to keep it under $100.00 per set. Comments? Sorry no pics yet, but you guys know what billet is.

definetely highly polished!!!! Or Chrome! Just like the rings around BMW gauges! I would be down for sure.
I have always thought our cluster needed something to set it apart. Those block numbers make it look too plain!

THe best thing you could do, would be to dunk the silver gauge cluster template and give it a CF look. THEN add the chrome trim rings. That would look great!

I'd only be interested in either the brushed aluminum that matched the plate on the steering wheel cluster, or anodized aluminum that mathces the door handles. There isn't any chrome in the Z, so other than dipping everythin metal in the car, I think it should match the theme that's going on.

why the hell would you chrome part of the interior? it would clash horribly with the rest of the brushed aluminum look
talk about bling bling.. why doesnt someone chrome the steering wheel while at it

I believe the door handles are made out of aluminum now and are just anodized. If the handle is of a high enough quality aluminum, you could sand it down and buff it yourslef. I did that on an old 83 jeep wagoneer I had, sanded and buffed the entire steering column, looked cool, wasn't worth that much work, but a handle wouldn't take any time at all.

The shifter ring is already brushed aluminum. (?)
The "three gauge pod" rings (which i think is what you were aalso refering to) are painted plasic, but are they worth replacing?
Just prodding for info
