i used 80, then 180, then 320. primer, 180, primer again, 180, 320, 400, 800, paint, and 2 coats of clear

More Pics. Intrested in this as well. Really dont like the Carbon Fibre any more. Bought a few pieces and they look like **** now. Waste of money IMHO.

+1 this is the best way to do it. if you try to fill it in with high build primer and do not TOTALLY cure the primer before sanding and painting over it, the primer will air out more and you will get some of the pattern back over a few month period due to it still shrinking. if ya want a one shot method, you could use a product called feather fill. basically a sprayable bondo. once it hardens, it won't shrink on ya. need to prep really good though as it does not bond very well, especially to plastic.

I would recommend using an adhesion promoter before the normal primer.

bulldog never really worked well for me. it would spray out of the can all blotchy and no way to get rid of it. if they made it so you could spray it from a gun and get a good spray pattern it would work really well though.
