If you are using a seat rail that is designed for the seat and the car spceifically, I would not recomend modifying anything. I take it you have the hardware and bracket which includes a slider too correct?

I've changed seats in my car soooo many times, and have custom tweaked a few rails here and there, and sometimes you just end up ruining things unfortunately.

the Nagisa rails sit lower than most, however these are primarily designed for standard width side mount seats (fixed buckets, non-reclineable), or standard base mount seats such as most sparco, momo, cobra etc...

I've noticed that Bride is very quirky in which seat fits what rail, and will recomend that if you do have bride seats, to stick with the recomended rail they say to use for your specific seat setup.

The last thing you can do is take the car in to a metal fabricator (yellow pages work well here to find one local to you), and see if they can do anything in regards to cutting down your rail a bit lower and re-welding and strengthening it.

PM me if you have any more questions, i've done seats plenty, so i've got some first hand experience with em.

Do you have any information on lower seat rails for both the driver and passenger seat that will fit the factory seats? I have an Enthusiast model with cloth seats.

I'm looking through the forums but I haven't found anything yet.
