I have a pioneer Avic D1 and need to pull it out so I can apparently take the mute wire, plug it into the empty slot on the harness so I can use my navigation functions and watch DVDs while I drive haha
I'm having a hell of a time removing the dash and I really don't want to break anything.. I've got off the pannel that goes over the shifter but the rest of it that surrounds the screen is still on.. I unclipped it up top by the "bubble cirlce gauges" but it doesn't seem to want to come loose down by the screen.... any help would be GREAT.. I'm sitting in my car on my lap top right now.. so please reply cuz I can't do anything with my car all tore apart and don't want to put it back together till the job is done
thanks
Rick

its a bitc* the first time, just make sure all your screws are unscrewed and pry up on it slowly. It is painfull i know, and will tear the tips of your fingers apart, but slowly the latches will unsnap and the center console will come off. After some harness removals for your A'C controls you should up in rolling.
