Default 350z Headlight Problem

Hey I know someone had this problem before but I just can't seem to find it. I have a base 04 350z and did the H7 HID conversion. They worked fine before I took my car to the body shop to have my V2 bumper refinished and they took the headlights out so they could blend in the hood. Today they start to put the car back together and now the low beams don't work. I called Nissan and they said it could be the headlight fuse. But I don't want to have the dealer rip me off by just changing the fuse. So does anyone know what could be wrong and if it is the fuse where would that be. I checked the main fuse but non of them are blown. Oh the lights are about 3 months old so they should still be good.

simply put, WHY DO YOU GO TO THE FREAKING DEALER?

like are you absolutely out of your mind?

this sort of thing is obviously not under warranty since it is aftermarket, and the dealer offers NO advantage in workmanship, quality, or price.

Best thing to do, find a shop in the area with a certified mechanic. go to the mechanic and ask him to diagnose the problem. most shops will diagnose it for free, and if it is a fuse, you are looking at like 10 bucks MAX to change it out. most of the shops ive been to change fuses and bulbs for free.
