I want to cut a hole in the knock out of my Shine, V2 but it seems like vibration from a whole saw may damage the mouth section any reccomendations on how to make the whole w/o fu@kin it up or where to go to get it done in SoCal?

 

just brace the piece. Maybe put a small chunk of wood directly behind the area you are drilling and carefully clamp the edges to it. If your bit is sharp and you use a relatively high speed drill, I would think it would go through like butter. Another option is to use a regular drill bit and drill a small hole and then use a hand file to open it up <- I have used that technique on CF hoods (CF overlaid on fiberglass)
