Default headlight smudge marks

I have a set of 07 headlights that were painted black by Mr. Zipps. They looked good when I put them in the car. My car sat for a month in the garage due to someone breaking into it and it took that long to fix. Well, when I got it into the sun I noticed large smudge mark on the inside the passenger side headlight. It looks like possibly glue due to just the smudge mark gives off a reflective blue/purple reflection in sunlight and resembles small snowflakes bundled on top of each other. I have it inside the driverside also. My question is does anyone have pics of their car doing this? Mr. Zipps says its common and caused by condensation. I don't think that is the case.headlight smudge marks-headlight.jpg

The big smudge in your first picture is pretty ugly. As far as the second picture, you might have to link to a larger resolution version of the photo to really show what you're talking about.

What causes these large ugly smudges? Is it a cleaning error prior to sealing the headlight? The second photo has the same thing but by the led lights. Does anyone have these on nonmodified 06-07 headlights

If your getting a haze inside your headlight then Mr.Zipps might of not gotten a good seal when he glued your headlights back togeather...

Only issues I had with the set of headlights I got back from Mr.Zipps was some glue spots on the outside of the headlight which eventually went away after several car washes, and I got this rainbow effect during the middle of the day on the lenses, but after about 6 months the rainbow effect went away also....

Yea I had glue all over the exterior when i received them from getting them done but i cleaned it up easily before instalation. I wonder if it is left over glue on the inside. This sucks, 1400.00 dollars for some crap.
