It wouldn't have anymore wear than a g35, or a s2k, or any car with painted door handles (which most does)

Also, you should reread the thread - the reason why we did not powdercoat is because you can't powdercoat plastic - Yes the handles are plastic with an aluminum coating that has been laid on top like an adhesive

yeah, i knew that. I'm just saying a powder coat piece would get hold up to the wear of a door handle. I detail cars all the time, door handles are all scratched up to hell..especially in the inner part where the nails touch i guess. Just have to be more careful with a black painted piece on the car.

Hmmm...interesting. I've never been a big fan of non-colormatched door handles on a sports car, whether painted a diff color, chrome or whatever. Chrome can look good on a VIP or luxury car, imo...

honestly, idk how some people handle their door handle...but i know i barely touch or apply much pressure to my door handle...so idk how much wear it can possibly recieve, unless you like man handle it or something everytime.

Updated with a pic that Flyinglumpia (Ernie) took at the meet tonight. Got great feedback from everyone so I guess it flows with my car

Thanks guys!

For anyone who wants to get this done the door handles literally takes 10 minutes to remove and 10 minutes to put back. All you need is a small flat head, a 10mm socket wrench, and thats it

Not at all bro. If you open your door you will see right behind the handle is two rubber plugs, if you remove those you will see two 10mm bolts. Remove them and slowly and carefully pull the handles out! Thats it

Looks clean. I still don't like the canards, however your car pulls it off nicely with the rest of the black accents. Beautiful car.

How much?

How long did the painter have them for, and is he willing to do more?

On another note, does anyone know how much a stock one would cost, if they are not to expensive I will buy 2 and send them out to get painted, without any downtime with the car.
