Racing seats and seatbelt question.
I noticed a lot of people have the 4 point harness with the Bride, Recaros, Sparcos, Cobras, etc seats. I saw a post or two saying that it's not to smart to run the harness on the street unless you were getting a 5 point system (or whatever they make thats more then 4, the one with a crotch strap) because you could slide out below during a collision. I can imagine this if the passenger/ driver had his/her seats leaned all the way back but i wouldn't think harnesses would be that easy to slide out from in an accident.
Maybe i just misheard/read something on here.....
I didn't notice a 5th harness slot on the Bride recline-ables i know the buckets have them.
Anyways i'm not planning on getting the harness bar and the harnesses just yet so my paragraph above doesn't matter but was wondering if anyone still had there seatbelts in with there racing seat and there thoughts on comfort.
I was imaging that it would be weird because the side bolsters on some seats are big like the Ergo II or Brix II whichever one and that it would somehow not be comfortable.
I think too much about the small things before i buy stuff but want to be sure that i do this right the first time. I can understand that not buying the harness could be weird if I'm going to buy racing seats but I'm making somewhat of a large purchase on different parts soon and am cutting some corners here and there to get everything I need/want.
Beside the point there are two kinds of Gias and Stradia the low-max version and the non low-max version, is the difference between these just the cushion height (where your *** would be planted) or is there more to it? Are the stradia bolsters are a little bit wider then the Gias or are they shorter to?
Thanks!

the submarine belt just keeps the lap portion secure (via 1 or two straps) but i'd think it would be hard for you to slide forward underneath the lap portion of the belt, unless you were like 300 pounds, had the lap belt on your round stomach and reclined back like you were about to be launched from a torpedo tube.
i've seen people run the submarine from between the seat part and where the reclining portion join (there's a hole since the reclining seat is joined at the sides, and they run the submarine belt underneath your butt. to the front, but you will munch your nads on a hard stop.
when ur strapped in, its very hard to see your blind spots. since you can't turn your chest/shoulders. imho. dont run 4 points H or Y harness on the streets, and don't use em on any track surface unless u got a roll bar.
