Default Question about Bride Brix II

I want to get a pair of the Bride Brix II seats but i dont plan on adding a harness bar. I keep seeing things like dumby switches for the airbags and such. my question is this. Can I just buy these seats and switch them out with the OEM seats? or do you have to go through a lot of hastle with airbags and such. BTW I have an 04 performance if that makes a difference. thanks, Jim

yes you can. There are pre-made resisters that you can buy to fool the airbag senors from the OEM seats. The is also a good write up on a homemade resister setup that one of the guys came up with.

the side airbags are installed in the factory seats - they do not transfer over to any aftermarket seat

if your car has side airbags, you will need the resistors to eliminate the airbag light - they are plug and play (but in very limited supply as NISMO no longer makes them, though I am sure you can make your own as an easy DIY project)
