Bump for an old thread, but I just got my brushed ARC ball...likely going to get the aluminum version of the finisher and brush it to see how it matches. I feel like I wont like the contrast between the aluminum and the Ti colors...so likely going to brush it and then put some kind of color on it to match the ****.

Definitely will take some fiddling to get right but brushing aluminum is easy as pie as long as you maintain your angles...after that I think I will either try to match the bottom color of the **** (anodized goldish) or paint to match my shift boot (wheat interior) although this might be harder and less appealing. Likely will go for a mixed graphite/gold finish.

Will post pics of process for those trying to match the Ti.

Hey Vo7848 you think a couple of heat shrink will do the job in replacing the duck tape? Cause I think the duck tape will kinda melt and get all sticky in hot weather. And can you tell me how far the gap is from the top of the duck tape to the top of the top of the shifter? (not the shift ****) thanks in advance.. BTW nice write up...

Bump thinking about ordering for my new setup TWM m1 abrams i picked up on ebay for $39.99. A zeetoys finisher would be perfect and make it a nice snug fit with the stock shift boot. Let me know what you guys think of polished versus aluminum. I am thinking of going with aluminum since the shift **** is gunmetal.

Just put on the rubber shank from Home Depot...didn't realize it was actually called "shank" lol

update:
So I decided to do something about the loose shift boot and shank, and rather than using tape, I cut a piece of cardboard and used a zip tie to hold it up, turned out perfect!
