Is the interior pocket of the '03 cubby bigger then the interior space of the '04 cubby?

Reason I ask is that I saw this little how to Garmin 660 Mounted in Z Cubby and decided to do the same. I bought the Garmin 650 which is the same physical size as the 660. I have an '04 cubby. The fit was pretty tight and the flip up lid of the '04 will obviously not be able to close with the Garmin unit inside. So I bought an '03 cubby but it was just the frame with the lid. It did not come with the interior pocket. So do I need to order to the '03 pocket as well? Or would I just be wasting my money since it's the same interior sizing as the '04 pocket? Someone please advise. Do I just reuse the interior '04 pocket with the '03 cubby? Or do I need to order the '03 pocket which may have more interior space?
