I know it was posted here somewhere buy I could not find it on a search. I got 2 stains on my paint on the front of my Z. It is these yellow insects and I do not know how to get the yellow off of my silverstone without damaging the paint or the clear bra. Can anyone help me out????

jeff, I hear that the sun actually will bleach them out over time.

 

1. Have you been getting them? Did they fade out adfter time? I have'nt got any until after I saw you and it seems like the bugs are going nuts in so cal now. BTW, my clear bra turned out great, just went for ft bumper though.

2. Dropped by Mossy Nissan in Oceanside. They got a dealer 350Z SS as a test mule. Already has new tires, wheels, pop charger, B & B exhaust, misc little stuff like "fairlady" embelms etc. Good part is every upgrade they are doing they do dyno's so you can see specs, no guessing. They are adding pulleys and cams next to the test mule. They stock a lot of after market stuff and all NISMO stuff is availible (that american Nissan dealers can get thus far). Yo Zland! I bought my car at Mossy Oside. I have a Black track and had similar problems with bugs. I think I have a solution for the paint! I dont know about the bra though.

Step 1. Use 3M swirl remover. It took out bug stains and bird poop stains. I about had a heart attack because some birds doody looked to be eating into my clear coat. It also got rid of the swirls too. However it is minorly abrasive, so I dont reccomend frequent use.

Step 2. Once you have killed the stains (and the swirls) put on Crystal guard. I know the stuff is expensive, but since I applied it I dont get stains anymore. Only with the super duper bird craps do I get nervous.

Seriously, I have 3 coats of this stuff. After you get your car PERFECTLY CLEAN. Use that CG stuff and you wont be bothered as much by staining. Good Luck.
